Ladram bay

sunrise at Ladram bay

Access to Ladram Bay is really easy. Simply drive down onto the holiday park and park in their car park. Walk down the hill for approx 5 mins straight onto the beach. on the beach you will see 2 large rocks in the ocean, I recommend that you head to the one on the far right side of the beach as the other will be in the shadow upon sunrise.
The postcode for the holiday park is EX9 7BX

The best time to photograph this is sunrise where the light illuminates the rocks and with a mid to high tide.

Black Church Rock

Black Church Rock

Black Church Rock is located on Mouthmill Beach on the North Devon coast. Access to Black Church Rock is quite difficult and requires some form of physical fitness (mainly on the way back up the hill).
The closest car park is the Brownsham National Trust car park which is reached by turning off the B3248 road between Clovelly and Hartland. The postcode for this is EX39 6AN. From the carpark exit turn left and head on foot down the hill towards the farm buildings. To the right of these buildings there is a path that leads down to a path through some woods. It is about a 25 minute walk to the beach. After approx 2/3's of the way down you will come across a slight clearing where you can head left or right. Take the left path and that will take you down to the beach.

The best time to photograph this is late afternoon / early evening where the light illuminates the rocks and at low tide.
