It’s always nice to have your work recognised but it’s even more special when it’s on a global scale with the Wedding Photographers Photojournalist Association (WPJA).
I’m elated to share that the WPJA have awarded me with an official Master Piece Award, the highest level, as recognition for exceptional wedding photojournalism for this photo taken at Sophie & Justin’s Wedding at Frimley Hall Hotel & Spa. This award puts me up there alongside some of the best wedding photographers in the world so to say I’m chuffed is an understatement!
The WPJA scrutinise images submitted by Professional Photographers from around the World. The Judges are some of the most notable and respected working photojournalists and picture editors in the news industry (not the wedding industry). Winning in these contests is a true accomplishment for a pro wedding photographer so needless to say I’m buzzing right now.
